Terms of Use
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover use of the OpenMat web and mobile applications (the "Service") by staff, coaches, and administrators of participating gyms and martial arts schools. During the current founder-gym pilot, the Service is operated by Leradeca Limited on behalf of GripLab. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms cover general use of the product during the current pilot stage. They are not a full commercial SaaS Master Services Agreement, order form, subscription or renewal agreement, refund policy, enterprise service-level agreement, negotiated data processing agreement, or commercial indemnity package. Any such commercial terms, if applicable to your organization, would be agreed separately in writing.
Organization-managed accounts
OpenMat does not offer public self-registration. Accounts are created and managed by a participating organization's administrators, who are responsible for determining who has access to the Service on behalf of their organization and for removing access when appropriate.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of supporting your organization's gym operations, and not to:
- Access accounts, data, or organizations you are not authorized to access.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the Service's underlying software, except as permitted by law.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Account security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify your organization administrator or support@useopenmat.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Service availability
OpenMat is currently offered as a founder-gym pilot product. We aim to keep the Service reliably available, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this pilot stage, without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the product develops.
User-provided and organization-provided data
Participating organizations and their staff are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter into the Service, and for ensuring they have the right to submit it (for example, documents distributed to staff). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information processed through the Service.
Intellectual property
OpenMat, its software, design, and branding are the property of GripLab (operated during the pilot by Leradeca Limited) and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. Content and data that a participating organization or its staff submit remain theirs, subject to the license needed for us to operate the Service on their behalf.
Prohibited misuse
You may not use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others, to circumvent security controls, or to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
Pilot-stage limitations
Because OpenMat is currently in a founder-gym pilot stage, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, GripLab and Leradeca Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service and pilot evolve. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
